Club and activities
Inter-School Athletics

This program provides students with the opportunity to get involved in competitions with other middle schools in the district. We offer a variety of sports and activities such as basketball, volleyball, softball, track, cross country, bowling, flag football, dance, chorus, and we are always looking at adding more activities. The sports for boys and for girls will rotate and vary through the year. This program requires a 2.0 GPA and mandatory grade checks.


There are a few clubs that are offered here at Ilima. We have a Civic Club, National Junior Honor Society, A.R.M.Y.,and a hiking club. If you have a club that you would like to start, please stop by our office and let us know.

Student Activities

Our Student Activities Program compliments our academic program. The activities are designed to help students become well rounded and contributing member of our community. Our goals are as follows: provide opportunities for students to participate in organized and supervised extra-curricular activities, develop social and interpersonal skills, provide opportunities for social and cultural interchange, and to provide opportunities for our students to serve their school and community.

sTudent Leadership
This class is open to all 7th and 8th graders. It requires an application, interview, and permission of the Student Activities Coordinator.

This program will focus on leadership characteristics such as speaking skills, planning, group discussions, and then implementation of ideas. This class also provides service to the school on a regular daily basis.The enrollment for this class is open at the 4th quarter for the next upcoming year. Ths program requires time and commitment as students are expected to be here both early and late.
